Comps are Fun. A good climbing competition is great for seeing old friends and making some new ones (A possibly getting another T-Shirts)
When you compete you need to keep things in perspective. Always remember that there is always a bigger fish, Someone who is going to climb better than you. (Unless your name is Chris Sharma or Adam Ondra.) If your going to a comp take a look at the best climbers there. Not only are they climbing hard but they are having a lot of fun and they are not try to cut throat, give out strange Beta, If you asked one for some advice chances are they will give you the time of day and spray you with some Beta.
